Kevin Cassells

Kevin graduated in 2021 with a high distinction in his Physiotherapy masters from the University of Limerick, Ireland. Before moving to Australia he worked in a mixture of aged care and hospital settings where he helped to rehabilitate fractures, improve mobility and help to manage chronic pain with his patients.

Chronic pain is of particular interest to Kevin, which is why he completed his dissertation examining strategies to help improve pain and function in patients with chronic low back pain. Kevin believes in educating and empowering patients with chronic pain, using appropriate manual therapy and exercise programs to help return patients to function and alleviate their pain.

Prior to his physiotherapy degree, Kevin also completed a bachelors in Sport Science and Health in 2017 through Dublin City University. Kevin uses this knowledge from his education in his treatments, as he sees exercise as an extremely useful tool in rehabilitating injuries, preventing future injuries and improving function when planned appropriately. Kevin is also a keen sportsperson himself, with a background in gaelic football, soccer and distance running.
